Q: How do I get to Hotel Durban from the airport?

A:  Hotel Durban is an easy 30 minutes from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. We have a luxury SUV available for airport pick-up for a fee. If you are taking a taxi, please give the taxi driver the following directions in English or Tagalog, the local language:

English: “Take Makati Avenue toward the Burgos Entertainment District. Once you cross Buendia Avenue, make a right onto Burgos Street. Take your second left onto Durban Street. Hotel Durban is the white, four-storey building on your right, just before Makati Avenue.”

Tagalog: “Dumaan o baybayin ang Makati Avenue papuntang Burgos Entertainment District. Pagtawid ng Buendia Avenue, lumiko ng kanan sa Burgos Street. Sa pangalawang kalye, lumiko ng kaliwa sa Durban Street. Ang Hotel Durban ay may kulay puti gusali na may apat na palapag sa bandang kanan bago dumating ng Makati Avenue.”

 

Q: Do your rates includes taxes and all applicable surcharges?

A: Yes. All taxes, VAT, and service charges are included in our quoted rates.

 

Q: Which amenities come with the room?

A: All rooms have AC, cable TV, telephones with unlimited local calls, and refrigerators. All our TVs are flat-panel displays, and all lighting is LED. Each room has its own private bath with hot and cold water. We also provide liquid soap and an all-over shampoo-bodywash via in-bath dispensers. Hair dryer may also be provided upon request. The safety deposit box is included on the room amenities.

 

Q: Do you have an elevator?

A: No, we do not have an elevator. Our porters gladly do all the heavy lifting of luggage and any personal effects you might have. Our rooms span 4 floors. If you require a room on a low floor, please notify the front desk at least 48-hours in advance of your scheduled arrival.

 

Q: How many people can each room accommodate?

A: Apart from our single-occupancy Pullmans, our rooms are rated for double occupancy; however, a third adult may be included in the room for an additional fee for an extra mattress. Up to two minors – children no older than 11 – may be included in the room for no cost unless an additional mattress is requested.

 

Q: Does breakfast come with the room rate?

A: No, breakfast is not included in our quoted rates. However, the breakfast selections in our café are varied and, like our hotel, a terrific value.

 

Q: Do you have Wi-fi?

A: Yes, we provide complimentary, high-speed, wireless broadband throughout the hotel and café.

 

Q: Do your rooms have windows?

A: All our rooms have either exterior or interior-facing windows. Our Economy rooms are windowless. If you require a room with an exterior-facing window, please notify the front desk at least 48-hours in advance of your scheduled arrival.

 

Q: Do you provide hair-dryers, toiletries, and other such amenities?

A: No. In order to bring you an incomparable value, we have eliminated certain amenities found in higher-priced hotels. Hair dryer may also be provided upon request.

 

Q: Do you provide airport transfers?

A: Yes. We have a luxury SUV available for airport pick-up and drop-off for a fee. Please book at least 48-hours in advance.

 

Q: Do you have a café or restaurant?

A: Our Italian restaurant, Farfalla, offers a wonderful and authentic selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We feature fresh pasta, hand-cut to order, as well as handmade breads and pizza. Farfalla is open from 7AM to 11PM daily.

 

Q: Do you offer room service?

A: Yes, room service is provided by our café whose operating hours are from 7AM to 11PM, daily.
